Dinner with Georgia O'Keeffe
Assouline, a luxury publishing company, and La Sirena, on of the hottest restaurants in NYC (owned by Mario Batali if you need any more convincing that this place is awesome), teamed up to create an amazing night honoring Robyn Lea's new book Dinner with Georgia O'Keeffe: Recipes, Art, Landscape. The book is exactly what it sounds like, a tribute to O'Keeffe for her achievements in both art and food, featuring some her own recipes! Decorating La Sirena with a Southwestern and serving tasting samplers from the book, Assouline put on quite the party and I was grateful to be invited!
I decided to wear a pair of rusty-orange silk shorts, a wool turtleneck, a vintage leather duster coat, and my Stella McCartney platform loafers. I ended up matching the warm color scheme of the party.
Because my outfit was super comfortable, I had no problem mingling with some of my favorite bloggers, like We Wore What, and having too much time at the photo booth with my mom! All in all it was a great night and I am so happy to have been apart of it!
